Primary school places announced for families in Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole




Parents and carers across Christchurch have found out their children's school place offers for September.

BCP Council figures show 99.2% of families living in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area have been offered a place in reception at one of their preferred schools.

And 98.4% of families living in BCP applying for a place in Year 3 have been offered one of their preferences.

All parents who applied online by the closing date of 15th January will be able to log on from 10am today (Monday) to see the result of their application.

Letters will also be sent to all parents who applied by the closing date.

Cathi Hadley, corporate director for children’s services at BCP Council said: “We are pleased that we have been able to offer a high percentage of families one of their preferred schools for their children to attend from September.”
