"Then I saw someone in the road and people standing around."

Mr Kearl said he has warned about the dangers of speeding on that road, which he stressed has New Milton Junior School and the Baptist church where a nursery is run.

"You can hear the difference from when someone is doing 30 to someone doing 60 or 70," he added.

"I did email New Milton Town Council about a year ago, and they said they would look into it – I never heard anything back from them.
