Photographers and filmmakers zoom in on new studio open day
ONE of the newest photography studios in the south is throwing open its doors to give filmmakers and photographers the chance to zoom in on its state-of-the-art facilities.
HiveStudios New Milton, based at the IncuHive business hub in the town, is inviting creatives to an open day to find out more about its offering.
The event follows its launch, backed by national coordinator Creative England, where it was hailed as a “fabulous resource” by award-winning director Keith English, from Lymington.
The south coast studio offers professional facilities including separate white and black infinity covers, green-screen capability and a range of lighting kit, plus the support of 1GB broadband.
Customers will appreciate the dual infinity coves measuring three metres high, 5.5 metres wide, and three metres deep. The whole space is underneath a five-metre-high ceiling to give room for spectacular shoots.
Backstage there is a make-up and dressing room, kitchen area with free tea and coffee, and on-site parking.
Close to New Milton train station on the mainline to London Waterloo, the Hive Studio is smart card-accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and rates start at just £25 per hour, plus VAT.
