PICTURES: Priestlands pupils get red carpet treatment in glitzy leavers prom

SUPERCARS, vintage Cadillacs, horseback and even a fleet of scooters escorted youngsters to the Priestlands School prom.
Year 11 pupils dressed to impress as they arrived at Rhinefield House Hotel for their leavers celebration.
The glitzy event, organised by teachers at the Lymington school, gave students the chance to let their hair down and celebrate the end of weeks of GCSE examinations.
Dressed in ball gowns and smart suits, they were watched by parents and friends as they made their red carpet arrival.
They enjoyed a meal, drinks and an award ceremony in the grounds of the Brockenhurst hotel.
Prizes were awarded for the best dressed students and the most inventive modes of transport.
