Pig and pony killed in New Forest road crashes

A PIG and a young pony were killed in crashes on New Forest roads last week, the verderers reported.
A grey filly foal was found dead on the B3078 Roger Penny Way at Howe Bottom, near Fritham, on Wednesday 26th October.
The incident happened before midday, and agister Jonathan Gerrelli attended.
Earlier the same day a pony escaped unharmed after a collision at 9.55am in Burley Road, Brockenhurst.
A pig was injured and had to be put down after another crash, also on Burley Road, on Saturday 29th October at 9.10am.
