Views sought on reducing 40mph speed limit to 30mph on 200-metre stretch of A337 Milford Road between Everton and Pennington

Public views are wanted over plans to extend a 30mph speed limit on a stretch of the A337 between Everton and Pennington.

Hampshire County Council’s proposed traffic order would reduce what is currently part of the 40mph zone on Milford Road due to a new residential development on land to its south.

It would also accommodate associated highway work, including widening of Milford Road, creating a junction access and right-turn lane to the new development.

The extended 30mph limit would be between just east of the access road leading to Efford Household Waste Recycling Centre and a point 203 metres west of that.
