A large team of police and RSPCA officers has been at an address on Ramley Road in Pennington

POLICE and RSPCA officers swooped on a Pennington property in a large-scale operation this morning (Thursday).

A large number of officers from both the Hampshire force and the animal welfare charity swooped on the address on Ramley Road.

The A&T saw personnel gathered outside the property, some of whom were wearing helmets.

A Hampshire police spokesperson told the A&T: “This morning, alongside our RSPCA partners, officers executed a warrant at an address on Ramley Road, Pennington.

“This followed information received and our officers remain at the scene at this time.”

A spokesperson from the RSPCA said the charity was unable to comment.
