Police appeal after haul of waste flytipped between Denny Wood and Lyndhurst in the New Forest

POLICE are hunting flytippers who dumped a large haul of household waste in the New Forest.

The rubbish, including a mattress, a fridge, carpet and other furniture, was found on several areas of land between Denny Wood Campsite and Lyndhurst on Sunday afternoon.

Local officers urged people to come forward if they can help identify where the items came from.
