Dorset Police appeal after woman seriously injured in crash on Avon Causeway
OFFICERS investigating a crash on the Avon Causeway are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.
At about 9am on 28th May a white Fiat Ducato camper van and a pedestrian were involved in a crash on the Christchurch road, which crosses over the A338.
The pedestrian, a Bournemouth woman in her 50s, suffered serious but not life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
Constable Chris Brolan, of the Dorset Police traffic unit, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish exactly what happened and would urge any witnesses to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who may have been driving in the area at the relevant time and captured anything of significance on dashcam.”
