Man arrested after police find 'significant amount' of cannabis in factory raid on Totton flat
A MAN was arrested after police raided a cannabis factory in a Totton flat.
Officers from the town's neighbourhood police team targeted a property in Longstock Crescent yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
They were joined by specialist officers trained in forcing entry to execute a warrant under the misuse of drugs act.
A police Facebook post said: "When we come to your door, it’s your choice whether you open it. Just know, when we have a warrant, we’re coming in anyway.
"A significant amount of controlled substances in a well-set-up factory were located and a male was arrested.
"We actively look to target those people higher up the ladder in the supply of drugs."
Also attending the raid were representatives from the home's energy provider to make the property safe.
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
