Hampshire police investigating after 15-year-old girl raped in Beaumont Road area of Totton, as car park on Testwood Lane cordoned off

A TEENAGE girl was raped in a New Forest town centre, police have confirmed.

Officers say “extensive enquiries” are ongoing following the incident, which took place in the Beaumont Road area of Totton around 8.30pm on Saturday.

A nearby car park on Testwood Lane was also cordoned off by police on Sunday.

A Hampshire force spokesperson said the 15-year-old girl was being supported by specialist officers and added: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

“Officers may be seen in the area today (Tuesday) carrying out enquiries. If you have any concerns, please speak with one of our uniformed officers.”
