Police launch CCTV appeal after alcohol worth £286 was stolen from Waitrose in The Furlong, Ringwood
POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace after almost £300 of alcohol was stolen from a Ringwood supermarket.
The incident took place at Waitrose in The Furlong on Friday 7th March between 1.55pm and 2.10pm.
Now the force has released images of the man, who is described as white, aged approximately 30 years old and 5ft 10 inches tall. He was wearing glasses, a blue baseball cap, blue jacket and red hooded top. He also has a scar to the left side of his face.
A police spokesperson said: “During the incident, it’s reported that £286 worth of alcohol was stolen. We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.
“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
