CCTV: Woman sought by police after items stolen from Asda supermarket in Maynard Road, Totton




POLICE have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to trace after items were stolen from a Totton supermarket.

The incident saw goods worth £37.92 stolen from Asda in Maynard Road between 11am and 11.30am on Sunday 23rd March.

Police say an attempt was also made to steal a further £42 worth of items, but these were recovered.

The woman police want to trace is white and aged between 25 and 30 years, with a pale complexion and wavy, mousy hair. She was wearing a black jacket with a hood.

A police spokesperson said: “We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
