Police seize drugs after searching business on Blackfield Road, Blackfield
POLICE officers who searched a business in Blackfield have seized class B substances and drug gear.
Officers from the Waterside and Totton teams raided the property on Blackfield Road, and they took to social media to explain their presence.
In a Facebook post, officers said: "You may have noticed an increased police presence in Blackfield.
"Officers, assisted by our colleagues in the dog unit and response teams, executed a warrant at a business address on Blackfield Road.
"Officers searching the address and the vehicles outside have seized a quantity of a class B controlled substance and drug-related paraphernalia."
Two males were due to attend for voluntary interviews and enquiries were ongoing, it added.
Urging locals to continue to report any intelligence on crime, the post said: "This is not possible without the public's support and input.
"The information you provide about local issues goes a long way in securing warrants and developing intelligence to enable enforcement action to disrupt drug dealing and drug related harm."
