A Facebook post by local officers said: “Using any vehicle like this can be dangerous not only to the rider or driver but also to pedestrians and bystanders.

“So we are going to be spending a lot more time in the area and we will be using Section 59 of the Road Traffic Act to deal with anyone behaving in this way, and we will be seizing vehicles.”
