Cutting warning to pizza lovers parking on zig zags outside New Milton's new Domino's
HUNGRY drivers parking on zig zags outside New Milton’s new major pizza takeaway branch are warned they could pay a higher bill than expected.
A local police Facebook post said patrolling officers had noticed a rise in the illegal motoring activity outside Domino’s on Station Road since it opened its doors last weekend.
It told people who park on the zig-zags, “even for a minute”, they would receive a £100 penalty and have three points slapped on their licence.
The post said: “Some may see this as a trivial matter, but people have died as a result of vehicles obscuring their view at crossings due to cars parked on the zig-zag lines, so we will be dealing with this matter (as well as other problems in the town) robustly.”
