Pony killed on notorious B3078 Roger Penny Way in New Forest

A PONY was killed on one of the New Forest's worst roads for animal deaths, the verderers reported.
The bay mare died at Black Gutter on the B3078 Roger Penny Way last Wednesday at about 5.30pm. Agister Jonathan Gerrelli attended.
Another pony was put down the week before on Saturday 3rd December after a hit-and-run at 3pm between Ipers Bridge and Hilltop. Agister Mike Lovell attended.
Two other hit-and-runs were reported last week but no injuries were found.
