Cash and cigarettes stolen in smash-and-grab raid at Tesco Express in Blackfield

CIGARETTES and cash were stolen when raiders smashed their way into a Blackfield convenience store in the early hours.
Police responded to a call-out shortly after 1.30am yesterday (Monday), reporting a burglary was in progress at Tesco Express in Hampton Lane.
A spokesperson for the Hampshire force said: “Three people were seen to enter the store via a smashed window panel and a large quantity of cigarettes and a quantity of cash was stolen from the tills.
“They then fled the scene.”
