Signal fault causes disruption for passengers travelling through Hinton Admiral
RAIL passengers have been facing disruption today (Monday) due to a signalling problem at Hinton Admiral.
South Western Railway warned trains running through the station would be cancelled, delayed or revised, with hold-ups expected to last until 4pm.
Services are having to run at reduced speed on the line towards Southampton.
An SWR spokesperson said: “We have been informed that there is a track circuit failure at Hinton Admiral.
“This means that trains have to run at reduced speed on the line towards Southampton Central.
“For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
“We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
