Two rare motorbikes have been added to Sammy Miller’s museum collection




TWO rare bikes have been added to a New Milton museum’s collection.

The Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum has acquired a 1963 Victoria 155 49cc, nicknamed the ‘Tin Banana’. It was produced in mass quantities but very few have survived.

Sammy describes it as a “Rolls Royce of the bike world”, and is thrilled to have the art-deco styled Victoria on display.

A 1950 Vincent Grey Flash can also now be found at the facility. A 500cc Grand Prix bike with a 4 speed Albion gear box, it was raced by John Surtees.

Two models built by Ian Glasspool have also been acquired by the venue.
