Truck stolen from Keyhaven property believed to have been used for rural crimes
AXES and other tools for burglary were found in a truck which had been stolen from a Keyhaven property.
Police believe the blue Nissan pick-up, with the registration M13ALY, was used in several rural crimes across Hampshire after being taken, along with a quad bike, from an address in Keyhaven Road on 2nd February.
Found abandoned in the New Forest on Saturday night after failing to stop for officers on the A31, it also had barbed wire tangled in its bodywork.
Suspects reportedly fled in the vehicle following an attempted burglary in Farley Street, Nether Wallop, last Thursday.
Sharing images in a Facebook post, local officers urged witnesses and those with information to come forward.
The post said: “If you have knowledge of who has been using this vehicle or where it has been seen or parked up during day time, please contact Fordingbridge police team in confidence so we can target those involved in rural crimes and protect hard-working communities and rural businesses."
Phone the police on 101 with reference 44230079078.
