Recruitment day for Cat & Fiddle pub at Hinton

A PUB at the edge of Christchurch currently undergoing a £2m refurb is holding a recruitment day before its big reopening.

As reported in the A&T, the Cat & Fiddle at Hinton has been closed since late last year, with owner Mitchells & Butlers then suggesting a late-January opening.

However, an advert posted this week for the jobs drive has revealed the restaurant will likely not reopen until late April, with the brand changing from Harvester to Vintage Inns.

The jobs include a £29,000 assistant manager, alongside those for bar, waiting and chefing, and roles in the kitchen. Most include full, part-time and seasonal hours.

The recruitment day is being held at the Riverside Inn in Tuckton on 22nd February, 10am-4pm.
