Southampton magistrates order stalker Gregory Rowe from Christchurch to complete rehabilitation activities after he stalked and attacked Pennington woman




A STALKER from Christchurch who attacked his victim at her Pennington home and called her 40 times a day making threats to kill has been convicted.

Appearing before Southampton magistrates, Gregory Rowe (28) of Cross Way pleaded guilty to stalking involving a fear of violence between 7th December last year and 18th January.

He admitted attending his victim’s home on five occasions, giving her unwanted gifts, calling her 40 times a day from a withheld number, and making threats to kill.

Rowe also pleaded guilty to assaulting his victim and causing criminal damage, valued at £75, to a bedroom door in her home on 28th October last year. He also admitted a second assault against her on 7th December last year.

In addition to being ordered to complete 25 days of rehabilitation activities, Rowe was fined £1,000 and was ordered to pay charges totalling £199.

He was also ordered not to contact his victim or attend her street address in Pennington until 9th October next year.
