Ringwood teen Caitlin Binns given suspended prison sentence and banned from Nightjar pub in Ferndown




A RINGWOOD woman who assaulted four people, including a police officer, was given a suspended prison sentence.

Caitlin Binns (18), of Winston Way, committed a string of offences on 30th June at Ferndown.

Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court, Binns pleaded guilty to three counts of assault by beating and one count of actual bodily harm.

She also admitted damaging the cell of a police van, for which she was ordered to pay £60 compensation.

In addition to a 18-week custodial sentence, which was suspended for 18 months, she was banned from visiting the Nightjar pub in Ferndown for 18 months and ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.

She must pay the assault victims compensation totalling £510.
