SANTA was assisted by lifeboat rescuers as he paid a special Boxing Day visit to the Christchurch Harbour Hotel.
Mudeford RNLI’s volunteer crew stepped in that morning to transport Father Christmas to see the venue’s guests, who included some of their family and friends.
Crew members Adam and Justin escorted him into harbour on a rowing boat before he greeted children and handed over gifts.
The hotel laid on a reception for the special guest, with attendees enjoying mince pies and mulled wine.
Finally, Jolly Old Saint Nick bade farewell and headed back to the North Pole via Mudeford lifeboat station, aided by new lifeboat Henrietta H.
