Rogue trader took £90 for unfinished work after repeatedly targeting home in Trenley Close, Holbury




POLICE are hunting a rogue trader with a broken nose who took £90 payment for work he never completed at a Holbury home.

The unknown man repeatedly called at the address in Trenley Close between 6th December 2021 and 6th January this year offering to carry out odd-jobs.

On one occasion, a 70-year-old local woman handed over the cash for guttering to be cleared, but he left without finishing.

The man was described as white, scruffy looking, with a distinctive broken nose, and wearing a woollen hat.

Officers are urging people to come forward if they have witnessed any suspicious activity as they continue to investigate the incidents.
