BREAKING into a Lymington café within days of being released from prison resulted in a thief being sent back behind bars.
Robert Boyt (32), of no fixed abode, admitted trespassing at Lemana Café in High Street and stealing a safe containing its week’s takings, tips and petty cash and an iPad on 5th June. He also took four vegan sausage rolls.
Handing Boyt a six-week jail term, the Southampton Bench ruled the offence was serious as he had just been released from a previous custodial sentence.
He was also told to pay a £128 in court charges.
