Waitrose on the Furlong in Ringwood hit with another champagne theft




A Ringwood store has been hit with yet another champagne theft as police hunt for a man caught on CCTV.

Waitrose on The Furlong has been repeatedly targeted by alcohol thieves, with at least four such shoplifting incidents since July.

The latest happened between 3.55pm and 4.05pm on Thursday 22nd August and involved £424.95 worth of Laurent Perrier champagne.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you witnessed the incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”
