Met Office in yellow alert for strong winds across New Forest and Christchurch

A yellow alert has been issued for strong winds across the New Forest and Christchurch today (Monday).

The Met Office warning says strong south-westerly gusts will pose a risk to high-sided vehicles, with short-term loss of power and other services possible.

There may also be delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport and damage to trees.
