Suspended jail and four-year ban for Holbury drink-driver Robin Brown

A HOLBURY motorist caught at the wheel while nearly four times the alcohol limit was handed a suspended prison sentence by magistrates.
Robin Brown (43), of Perrywood Close, pleaded guilty to drink-driving along Rollestone Road and also having no insurance on 10th December 2022.
The Southampton Bench issued a 12-week jail term suspended for 24 months due to the offence’s seriousness and a previous similar offence.
During the suspension period Brown must complete 175 hours of unpaid community work and undergo rehabilitation activity. He was also ordered to abstain from alcohol for 90 days with electronic monitoring.
As well as this, he was banned from the roads for four years.
