Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court he was handed a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.

The court ruled the offences were so serious that only a custodial sentence could be justified as his behaviour had caused significant distress to the two complainants.

He must also pay each of the victims £250 in compensation and undertake a thinking skills programme.

Brown also admitted to a string of offences which took place on 14th April, which included possessing 1.54 grams of class A drug cocaine, and driving without a licence or insurance.

He was also found to have driven while the level of controlled drug Benzoylecgonine – a cocaine by-product – was above the specified legal limit.

He was disqualified for 16 months and ordered to pay a £300 fine.
