A TEENAGER has been charged with the murder of a former Highcliffe School student who was stabbed in Bournemouth.

James Cutting (31) died from his wounds in Boscombe Chine Gardens on the evening of Tuesday 30th June. He had been living in the town at the time.

As well as Mr Cutting’s murder, a 16-year-old boy from London is facing a charge of attempted murder in relation to another man found with face and neck injuries on the same evening. The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to stand trial in January 2021.

Another teenager, Khalid Mohamed (19), of Leyton in Waltham Forest, appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday charged with assisting an offender and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

He was remanded in custody for his case to be heard at Bournemouth Crown Court on 15th October.
