Mark Wallace of Calmore fined and banned from roads after dangerous driving in stolen vehicle




A CALMORE motorist damaged a police vehicle while driving dangerously in a stolen vehicle.

Mark Wallace (19), of Loperwood Lane, pleaded guilty to a charge of taking without consent, and dangerous driving – aggravated by the police vehicle damage – in Salisbury Road, Totton, on 22nd June 2022.

Wallace also admitted failing to stop for an officer, and driving without a licence or insurance on the same date and location.

Southampton magistrates banned the defendant from the roads for 18 months, fined him £200 and told him to pay £199 in court charges.

A 12-month community order including rehabilitation was also handed out.
