Teen pedestrian hurt in car collision at Hoburne Roundabout on Highcliffe Road in Christchurch




A TEENAGE pedestrian was hurt in a collision with a car on a main road in Christchurch.

Police are urging witnesses and those with dash cam footage to come forward as they investigate the incident which happened between 3.15pm and 3.30pm last Thursday.

It involved a red BMW and a male at the Hoburne Roundabout on the A337 Highcliffe Road.

Emergency services responded, and the youngster was treated by paramedics for injuries which were not believed serious.

PC Hugo Pike said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.

“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area around the relevant time to review any available dash cam footage to see if they have captured anything that might assist our investigation.”
