Poole magistrates order Aflie Jennings of Christchurch to complete unpaid work after he admits making indecent image of child




A TEENAGER from Christchurch admitted making an indecent image of a child and drug driving when he appeared in court.

Appearing before Poole magistrates, Alfie Jennings (19), of Somerford Road, indicated a guilty plea to a charge of making the image between 28th October and 14th November 2022.

The court heard the image fell into category A – the highest category of abuse images.

Jennings also pleaded guilty to driving a car on Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, with cannabis in his system in January.

For the indecent image, magistrates ordered Jennings to complete 150 hours of unpaid community work and that he give up his mobile phone.

He is also required to register with the police for 10 years, reporting to Bournemouth station.

For the driving offence, magistrates banned him from the roads for 12 months. They also ordered he complete 60 days’ unpaid work and to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £114 surcharge.
