Police arrest two teenage boys over Hampshire spate of burglaries and attempted burglaries, including one in which a BMW M4 car was stolen from an address on Overbrook in Hythe




TWO teenagers have been arrested in connection with a spate of burglaries and attempted burglaries across Hampshire, including one in Hythe in which a car was stolen.

Police have been probing 16 incidents where homes were burgled, with offenders looking for car keys to steal vehicles from driveways.

The Hythe burglary took place at an address on Overbrook during the night of Monday 10th March, when a BMW M4 was taken.

Other offences were reported to have happened in Southampton, Whiteley, Fareham, Bishop's Waltham and Waterlooville.

The boys, an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old, both from Southampton, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

Both were bailed until 26th June pending further enquiries.
