Holbury-based All Animal Rescue charity desperate to find home for paddleboard-loving pug Yeti
A paddleboard-loving pug called Yeti is desperate for a new home after their owner found they could no longer look after her thanks to the cost-of-living crisis.
She has been up for adoption at All Animal Rescue in Holbury since May and had three enquiries, but none resulted in a home.
Since being fostered Yeti has discovered a love of paddleboarding and spent four hours on Beaulieu River last week, so she would be “a good fit” for a sports lover.
A four-year-old neutered female fawn pug, she was referred by social services as her owner was struggling to care for her as well as her children.
Said to be “great with dogs out and about” she does prefer to be the only dog in the house but is happy to live with cats and rabbits.
The charity’s founder Sarah Mills said: “Yeti is currently fostered and living happily with a house rabbit. She is happy to be left for up to three hours and is very well behaved out and about so would make a fantastic office dog. She currently goes to work with her foster mum in the hair salon.
“Yeti is great on and off the lead and is brilliant in the Forest with all of the animals, she is great with the sheep and goats at the rescue. Although she is good with children, she can get over-excited, so children over the age of five would be fine.”
