Alleged rape of 14-year-old girl on land near Fordingbridge Recreation Ground: Third youth, from Romsey, charged
A THIRD teenage boy has been charged in connection with the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl in Fordingbridge.
The update comes as two 14-year-old local boys face trial following the alleged attack on land adjacent to Fordingbridge Recreation Ground on the evening of Friday 17th January.
Charged with rape, a 13-year-old from Romsey was released on conditional bail to appear at Southampton Youth Court on Monday 2nd June.
As reported in the A&T, one of the 14-year-old boys was charged with rape, threats to kill, possessing a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and kidnapping/falsely imprisoning a person with intent to commit a relevant sexual offence.
The other faces charges of rape, threats to kill and kidnap.
Both are due to stand trial at Southampton Crown Court from Monday 11th August.
The three boys cannot be named due to their ages.
