Three arrests as armed police respond to incident on Shore Road, Hythe




THREE people were arrested after armed police responded to an incident at a Hythe home.

Officers were called at around 3.40pm on Saturday after reports a group were trying to force their way into a house on Shore Road.

No entry was gained to the home and no one was reported to have been injured.

Officers from an armed response vehicle unit attended and arrested a 31-year-old man from Mitcham, London, on suspicion of making threats to kill, along with a 28-year-old man from Wandsworth, London, on suspicion of criminal damage and using violence to secure entry to premises.

A 33-year-old Hythe woman was also arrested on suspicion of using violence to secure entry to premises.

The trio were later released on conditional police bail until Saturday 7th May pending further enquiries.
