Three injured in a four-car crash which blocked B3073 Hurn Road, near Blackwater Junction




Three people were injured in a four-car crash which blocked a main route into Christchurch today (Thursday).

The collision was reported at 11.38am on the B3073 Hurn Road, near Blackwater Junction, where police and firefighters attended.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Two people were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious and a third person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.”

The vehicles were recovered and officers had left the scene by about 1.25pm.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Christchurch and Springbourne attended, and the incident had cause “large tailbacks”.
