Lucky escape for motorists after three-vehicle collision on A326 at Holbury




MOTORISTS escaped serious injury following a three-vehicle collision which partially closed the A326 at Holbury for five hours.

Police attended the incident which took place near the main road’s junction with Southbourne Avenue around 7.20pm last night (Tuesday).

Firefighters from Hardley helped at the scene, but paramedics were not required as all occupants of the vehicles had suffered only minor injuries.

Officers set up a partial road closure so the vehicles could be recovered from the scene.

The reopening was announced around 12.20am in a tweet by the Hampshire Roads Policing Unit.

This said: “Thank you for your patience this evening whilst we dealt with a three-car collision on the A326 at Holbury."
