Thunderstorm warning for parts of New Forest on Thursday

PARTS of the New Forest could be hit by heavy rain and thunderstorms today (Thursday), with a yellow warning issued by the Met Office.
It's predicted to hit a large area of the UK's south-west, covering a region in the northern New Forest, including the A31, Ringwood, Fordingbridge and Bramshaw.
The national weather agency has warned of poor driving conditions with spray, standing water and hail, delays to train services and power loss.
Some homes and business could also be flooded, and there's a risk of lightning strikes.
The alert is in place from noon to 10pm.
