Two Totton men arrested after man kicked and punched in serious assault outside Southampton nightclub

TWO Totton men were arrested after a man was kicked and punched outside a Southampton nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police responded to reports of a serious assault taking place in the city’s High Street between 3.20am and 3.45am, when a man in his 30s was attacked by two men.

Having suffered serious injuries to his face and head, the victim was taken to hospital where he remains at this time.

The Totton pair, aged 26 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and later bailed pending further enquiries.

The Hampshire force is urging witnesses to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “Did you see what happened?

“Do you have mobile phone or other footage showing the incident or the moments before or after?”
