Groups of wild campers moved on from near A31 at Bratley Arch and at Bartley by police and Forestry England




TWO groups of wild campers were moved on after pitching tents in the New Forest in one night.

Five young people were involved in each of the incidents reported during the night of Saturday 17th August.

Police responded to the first, off the A31 by Bratley Arch, prompting the group to pack up before being picked up and taken home.

The second incident, at Bartley, was attended by Forestry England staff. An FE spokesperson said the campers moved to the official campsite at Ashurst.
