Two ponies put down after crashes on C10 New Forest road




TWO ponies were put down after crashes with vehicles in the New Forest last week, the verderers reported.

A young roan filly had to be destroyed after being injured in a collision on the C10 between Wilverley and Wootton Bridge at about 8.30am on Tuesday 18th October. Agister Jonathan Gerrelli attended.

The next day a brown mare wearing a reflective collar also had to be put down after an incident at about 5.10pm on the same road, near Setthorns Campsite, Sway. Agister Robert Maton attended.

A pig escaped with injuries from an incident on Saturday at Rhinefield Road, Brockenhurst. Mr Maton also attended.
