Hampshire Police divert traffic as two-vehicle collision partially blocks Lyndhurst’s one-way High Street




A TWO-vehicle collision partially blocked off Lyndhurst’s one-way High Street, causing evening rush-hour hold-ups.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident involving a Toyota Yaris and a Volkswagen Golf which took place on Wednesday.

A lane was shut, with some traffic being diverted away as police worked at the scene.

Delays of about 15 minutes were reported southbound on Romsey Road, between Furzy Lawn Lane and High Street.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.39pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Lyndhurst High Street between a Toyota Yaris and a VW Golf.

“There are no reported injuries.”
