Two-year-old girl taken to hospital after falling from window in Ringwood

A TWO-YEAR-OLD girl was taken to hospital after falling out of a second-storey window in Ringwood.

It is understood the child landed on the pavement below a property on Christchurch Road.

A spokesman for the South Central Ambulance Service confirmed the air ambulance was called yesterday (Thursday) after the incident at 1.30pm.

"The air ambulance team travelled with the patient – an approximately two-year-old girl who had fallen from a first-floor window – in an ambulance to University Hospital Southampton," he said.

The spokesman was unable to confirm the child's condition.

On Facebook, a number of Ringwood residents sent best wishes to the girl's family.
