Bransgore teen arrested after home on Burnt House Lane raided by police, finding suspected stolen dirt bikes and ATV
A TEENAGER was arrested as a haul of suspected stolen goods was found when police raided a Bransgore home as part of a burglaries probe.
The property in Burnt House Lane was entered around 9am last Thursday in the hunt for suspects wanted in connection with offences committed in Wiltshire.
A 19-year-old from the village was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possessing a blade, assaulting a police officer and racially aggravated public order.
He was later released under investigation.
A search of the premises resulted in three dirt bikes and a small yellow ATV (all-terrain vehicle) being seized.
Suspecting them stolen, local police shared images of the items on Facebook in a bid to reunite them with their owners.
The post said: “If you do recognise an item as stolen, please give us as much information as you can in your report to us, such as the identifying features that we have removed in the pictures, or distinct markings/serial numbers that aren't initially visible.”
