Washing product thief Daniel Whiteside told to pay more than twice the value of items stolen from New Milton One Stop store




A NEW Milton man who stole washing products in two thefts from a local store had to pay out more than twice their total value.

Daniel Whiteside (39), of Marryat Road, pleaded guilty to taking £45 of Ariel gel from One Stop on 11th January, and then returning to take Fairy washing up pods valued at £32 the next day.

As well as ordering the defendant fully compensate the store, Southampton magistrates fined him £80.
