Weather warning as strong winds and heavy rain on the way

NEW Forest and Christchurch residents have been told to batten down the hatches with strong winds and heavy rain on the way.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the whole of England later this week, with winds of up to 70mph predicted for coastal and hilly areas bringing “some disruption” to the area.
It’s expected to hit Wednesday evening and continue into Thursday, dying down by the afternoon.
The weather agency says there is a possibility of short-term power loss, delays to road, rail air and ferry transport, and longer journeys for bus and train services.
